The intu Lakeside Shopping Centre in London recently utilised our Fusion Luminaires Shield LED asymmetric floodlights to upgrade their existing metal halide lighting to LED within the service areas of the centre. Scott Nicol, Electrical/Building Services Team Leader, was impressed by both the services provided and the product.

"Following on from the CEF Grays and Fusion Luminaires site visit, to see how we could upgrade our existing metal halide lighting to LED in the service areas. You initially gave us a sample of a 210W LED floodlight to trial. After installing this unit for a period of time, senior intu management and myself were happy to roll out the replacement of the fittings. It was noted that the new LED fittings had a much wider spread of light which meant we could install fewer lights but still retain the same effect. This enabled us to reduce the number of fittings from 52 to 32. We were provided energy saving calculations and payback periods which were very favorable and the senior intu team were happy to go ahead with the project, which obviously made the senior intu team very happy.
